Update from Ho Chi Minh City

Hello from Ho Chi Minh City. I'm in Vietnam for the next month, and I will be visiting Nha Trang and Danang on this trip. I do annual construction updates for HCMC and Danang, while Nha Trang is somewhere I like to check in on every other year. 

When I visit Nha Trang and Danang (and other coastal cities) I rent a motorbike to look for under-reported coastal developments. One place I have been keeping track of is Vega City near Nha Trang.

The coast of Vietnam is littered with half-finished developments like this, so I am curious to see how this one is going. I will also check on the many unfinished hotels that line the coast between Danang and Hoi An.

After Vietnam, I will be in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. I have about two months of travel planned out, so I will be posting more notes from the road in this section of the newsletter.
