🇰🇭 Cambodia
Techo Takhmao International Airport

The new Phnom Penh Airport was more than 50% complete by September 2023, and is expected to be operational by 2025.

Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport
Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport began operations on 16 October 2023 and it was officially inaugurated on 16 November 2023.
Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport (SAI) replaces Siem Reap International Airport (REP), which has now closed down. The new airport is 50 km by road from Siem Reap city centre, and there is talk of building a light rail to connect the airport to the city.
Dara Sakor International Airport
Dara Sakor Airport in Koh Kong Province was on track for a mid-2023 opening, but then it was announced that the airport was still not ready for trial flights.
Koh Rong Airport
In January 2023 Royal Group signed an agreement to build Koh Rong Airport. The $300 million airport will take five years to complete.
Mondulkiri Airport
Cambodia seeks partners for planned Mondulkiri airport
“Cambodia is looking for partners for the development of a planned airport in Mondulkiri province south of Sen Monorom town after PowerChina International Group Ltd (PIG) withdrew during the Covid-19 crisis and subsequent negotiations with other foreign companies fell through, according to a senior civil aviation official.”
Ratanakkiri Airport
A new Ratanakkiri airport has been proposed to serve as a ‘travel hub’ for the Northeastern region. The current Ratanakkiri airport is in the city centre of Banlung town.
Battambang Airport
Battambang Airport upgrade under review
“Veal Bek Chan Airport in Battambang province is being studied for an upgrade from 3C to the 4C category, allowing bigger jets to take off and land.”
