The Hat Yai Monorail proposal

New Phnom Penh Airport 25% complete, final rail welded on Laos-China Railway, a proposed ski slope in Malaysia, and more transport and construction news in Southeast Asia

This week continues the series of proposed provincial transit systems in Southeast Asia (you can see the full list here). I will be surprised if this gets built, considering that the Phuket LRT was recently cancelled, but if Palembang can build an LRT, then why not Hat Yai a monorail.
